About

Cornelia Franck completed her first training as a state-certified graphic designer at the Lette Verein in Berlin from 1991 to 1994 and has been working as a freelance designer ever since. In 1998, she spent 10 months at MetaDesign in San Francisco. Two years later, alongside the birth of her first child, she earned her degree in communication design from what is now the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft, with the topic "Das audio-visuelle Portrait" (Animation/Typography). Before her degree (2000), she primarily worked for agencies and studios in the field of corporate branding. Afterward, her focus shifted more toward corporate design, editorial design, and consulting for corporate identity and corporate communication, mainly for publishers, research institutes, and companies in the cultural sector.

At the same time, she studied languages at the Humboldt University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 2016 (thesis: "Typografische Fährten zur Todesthematik im Werk von Thomas Kling") and a Master of Education in 2018. Her master's thesis on the topic "Gendersensible Perspektiven im EFL-Unterricht" was nominated for the Humboldt Prize 2019 by the Institute for Languages.

Her clients have included, and continue to include: Aufbau Verlag Berlin / Die Andere Bibliothek, Berliner Bücherinseln, Berlin Verlag, Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz, Johannes Kepler University Linz, Kulturkind e.V, Random House Munich, Renaissance Theater Berlin, Siedler Verlag Munich, Vokalakademie Berlin, among others.

Since 2020, she has been a teacher at the Lette Verein Berlin.
